Hops Bar and Grill: great burgers in Kalispell. They have 100 craft beers to choose from and a terrific wine list. They no longer take reservations, so we naively showed up last Friday night at 5:20pm, expecting to walk in and get a table. Wrong! We put our name on a list and walked around town for 30 min. Better to get there right at 5 or wait until 6 or so when the first diners are done and there are tables. I love Hops. It was previously Cafe Max with the same owners but now is more casual and the burgers are awesome!
Hutton Ranch at the north end of Kalispell is adding to the restaurant scene. McKenzie Pub & Grill appears to be close to opening. A great addition to the choices at this popular shopping area and theater area in the valley. Chick-fil-a is planning a restaurant in the same area. Starbucks is building another location downtown Kalispell.
Seasonal road construction has begun with more links to the Kalispell bypass. We have winter seasion - and then construction season. Still seeing snow flakes out the window. Whitefish Mountain Resort has been receiving dumps each night of 9" or more! What an extended season. With the cooler temps again, should close out the ski year with a bang.
