Would love feedback on a new design we are working on

Dena Calivas came to us with a great idea to create a GREEN website. Here is the mockup so far and we are having so much fun learning about going green. I live in San Diego which is a wonderful area for tree huggers and I started blogging away and found my passion.

We would love your feedback on our new design. It's still in production, but thought you might want to take a look.

It is professional looking. It uses the right amount of green, too. Of course, you need to use green on a "green" website. I think you have a good balance. Nice contrast, too. It's rear that you see green text done right.

I think the website looks really great - the concept is really interesting and I hope you keep us updated on how the design continues to evolve.

I really like the fact that you have lots of "calls to action" in the homepage (e.g "scoop it up", "Grab the feed", etc). Gives the client lots of opportunity to get more info and make initial contact.
