We were in Palm Springs, in the California desert, over the weekend for wedding. Visiting with our daughter, son-in-law and the grandkids was a big part of the fun.
The house we were staying at had gorgeous views of the mountains from the yard and the house.
I spied the moon setting over the mountains late Saturday morning and was able to capture a couple of decent photos. It was pretty dramatic in the deep blue sky. So glad I actually was paying atttention instead of being glued to my iPad.
Those desert views can be almost as fabulous as our coastal ones. I'll be in Rancho Mirage soon and I always snap a few pics of the stunning sunrise over the mountains from my friend's patio.
