"TELLICO PLAINS!! WHERE IS THAT?"  That is exactly what I said when someone told me that East Tennessee and Tellico Plains was really nice.  I asked what mades it any different than North Carolina or Gatlinburg?  They only laughted at me and said that I should just look and see.  Of course I started my search and took a trip to see.

Starting from South Florida to Tellico Plains was an adventure for me.  As I took the mountain roads, I started thinking that I had been sold a bag of goods.  It had been a long ride.  I arrived late in the evening and took lodging in a nearby town.  At that time, I thought I was wasting my time.  I could not wait until the next morning so I started to take the drive into Tellico Plains.  It was not but a few miles that I started traveling under beautiful canopies of trees.  I started getting more excited and was assured that in the morning I would see what I had traveled so far and hopefully it would be what I had expected.

I went to Gatlinburg on my honeymoon years ago and remembered it being very quaint with arts and crafts etc. so this is what I was hoping to see in Tellico Plains.   I was lookings for a peaceful place full with beauty and also near shopping and dining.  I was not disappointed at all.  This property is  14.03 acres, taxes $65.00 and has views of the North Carolina mountains and Tellico Plains valley and Tellico Mountains.  It is available for $165,000.  Gatlinburg is 50 minutes away and Knoxville is 35 minutes.  Prime property is hard to find in Tellico Plains.  This one is prime.  Agent/broker.  View of Tellico Plains Valley and Mountains from Property
