Home Scouting Report-Application
We’ve recently added a new service that will be a benefit to both buyers and sellers. This product does several things that are extremely helpful and I am still learning how to fully use the application myself. You download the software onto your smart phone after I send you an invitation. You then add your own password. You enter in your criteria for a home search and it returns all of the properties in the MLS that match your criteria. Unlike Zillow, which only gets about 60% of the residential listings, Home Scouting Report gets 100% of them. You will see pictures of the listing, details on the property and a map showing you where it is located. It will also show you other homes for sale in that area. You can even set it up so that the sold properties will come up around the listing that interests you. Another really cool feature is the GPS aspect of the software. You could be driving around in the XYZ subdivision and come across a real estate sign with an empty brochure box (or no brochure box at all) and by using the GPS tracking, the home you are sitting in front of will come up on your screen. How cool is that?
If you are from out of the area and are just beginning your Internet search for property in Durango, The Home Scout will send you, every 30 days, all of the sold properties around your personal residence whether it’s in North Dakota, Texas or Timbuktu. This way you can begin to get a real handle on — not a Zillow Zestimate— of what the ACTUAL sales prices have been around your home.
