Lake Havasu Bowl for Kids' Sake 2014

Did you have a mentor when you were a kid? Maybe there was a teacher that you especially liked. Or, perhaps someone at work took you under their wing to show you the ropes when you first started off in your career. The Mohave County Big Brothers Big Sisters program helps mentor Lake Havasu youth to keep them out of trouble and focused on reaching their potential as productive members of the Lake Havasu community. Their biggest (and perhaps most fun) fundraiser of the year is the Lake Havasu Bowl for Kids' Sake 2014 which takes place at Havasu Lanes on Saturday, March 29th.

You don't have to be a professional bowler to participate in the Lake Havasu Bowl for Kids' Sake 2014. All ages and skill levels are welcome to join. After all, this event is really just a fun competition.

All money raised from the Lake Havasu Bowl for Kids' Sake 2014 will benefit the Big Brothers Big Sisters After-School Buddy program. This program partners a Big Brother or Big Sister that is at least 15 years old with a younger student. They meet up with their Little Brother or Little Sister once a week for one hour after school.

The Lake Havasu Bowl for Kids' Sake 2014 will be broken up into two sessions: 10am to 1pm and 2pm to 5pm. The earlier session will be to support the After-School Buddy program. The later session is meant for local Havasu businesses and teams to create a "call out challenge" to other Lake Havasu businesses and teams in an effort to raise even more money and awareness for the program.
