Talking to Activerainer's..Do You Ever Get Star Struck? C'mon Admit It.. Sometimes I do!

I remember meeting a bunch of rainers...I was actually nervous...hey alot of talent in one room...sometimes on the phone I feel the same way.

This year I have the privilege of co-moderating the Blogger's Choice Selection Group..sometimes it causes me to make a phone call and sometimes when I do...

I get star struck, I admit it do you? 

Now don't laugh but sometimes I have to pump myself up...I shake out the fingers...brush my hair back...and dial that number.   

I sometimes laugh at the other end of the phone or someone is laughing at me because of the reactions, often times I sound like a school girl talking to my BFF.. Intro's start.....lots of laughter. a slight change in my voice...almost yelling....ego boosting comments exchanged..some juicy tidbits...making some type of plans...kiss kiss the call ends.

Now there are some people who truly dazzle me on line with every thought, every photo and every post they thoughtfully write.  I have some great phone conversations with some real Superstars..let me let you in on my thoughts of some of these people and you tell me would you be star struck?

Neal Bloom-what you see with Neal is what you get!  He is the Real Deal and probably one of my closest friends on the rain.  When I ask him a question I can always count on the truth the whole truth and nothing but the truth.  I gotta admit I was nervous when I talked to him and today the greatest of friends.

Sally Cheeseman-my sister in Hawaii, I had always been attracted to her writing from day one.  I can tell you we both acted like school girls and without a doubt one of my many BFF's on the rain.  

Lola Audu-Now this lady I was nervous.  We had been interacted on-line alot and we both decided a call was in order.  I told her I would call.  Its my courage...it took me a while to dial the phone.  Once I did, I was among royalty with her brilliance and amazing knowledge and warmth.  

Jason Sardi-Now I like this lad.  Unique..very sincere and truly knows his business.  Before I dialed the phone...I talked about it for a hour in the office.  Finally brushed the hair back and dialed the number.  All's I got to say..he has such a nice voice...as corny as it sounds...he had me at hello.  

Monika McGillicuddy-I remember her from her very early posts.. I was drawn in.  I called her asking her advice...for me it was a very hard call to make.  I placed her in a very special place...I as afraid..really afraid I would be disappointed there was hesitation in me picking up the phone. Yes I was nervous and I know we giggled...wasn't disappointed at all.  She is to me another BFF on the rain. 

Ann Cummings-now if things go according to plan...we will meet face to face. This time not nervous..I did subject my husband to listen to it the night before..I was so excited...like a first date.  I think when we get together...oh boy..there's going to be some laughter..and some juice tidbits exchanged.  To me don't laugh... a dream come true.  Who knows I may ask her for her autograph.

Lenn Harley-I even said it to her..S-U-P-E-R-S-T-A-R-wouldn't you know it right off the bat she disagreed, I loved it...she writes HARDCORE REAL ESTATE!  And our conversation went that way!  I was not nervous but anxious once again..no hesitation...I felt comfy..just amazed I was actually talking to her!  I even had the guts to ask her to write a hard core real estate article for me.  Can't wait Lenn... but keep in mind my sales meeting is coming up quick! :)  

Brian Block-Remember I was a subscriber before your television debut! :)  Really, I was nervous again.  I did hesitate and then got that courage..brushed the hair back and was glad I did.  Very much like his writing, warm, inviting and very informative. 

There are many more that I have spoken to and there are more I hesitate to call.  Don't assume its because I don't appreciate your writing...or I don't want to interract with you...sometimes I admit I get starstruck, do you?
