The classic picture of a salesman. The greedy guy that makes a living taking advantage of hard working customers so he can make big bucks. They are still out there. You can run into them in every field of work.

Thankfully there are not as many of them as it may seem in our minds. How do I know? I meet them everyday. On car lots, in retail stores, the convenience store, my favorite coffee shop (Austin Java) at the electronics store and so on and so on.

How do you feel about Real Estate agents? I am sure there are some bad examples out there.

The truth is that most are very hard working, genuinely care about the people they represent, are honest, and love real estate. I can't explain it but I love land, homes, buildings of all kinds.

This next part may really sound weird to you but every home we have lived in and then sold, my wife and I both wind up crying the last day we walk through the empty home. A house to us has so many memories in it. The first day we brought our new born baby from the hospital, their first birthday in that home, anniversary parties, graduation celebrations, BBQ's with friends, listening to my children laugh as they watch a movie in the other room.

It is such a joy to help someone find the Home they will build their memories in. Such an honor to help a client sell a home they have built their family memories into. It would be my honor to help you and your family find your new home or land to build your new home.

Alan, thats a very thought provoking and sweet post... Can I say it was sweet? It brought up many good memories for me of my own family moving to or from our houses over my lifetime... what a journey.  Thanks for the thoughts, and happy Easter to you and your family.

Alan,

A caring person.  Thanks for sharing.  A good salesperson sells the buyer the home they need, where they need it and at a price they can afford.  A bad salesperson call sell anything to anybody whether is what they need or not.

Thanks for reminding us.
