35th Hatsume Fair at the Morikami Museum in Delray Beach
The Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens will host a celebration of spring with the 35th Hatsume Fair Saturday and Sunday in Delray Beach. Entertainment includes the ever-popular taiko drum performances by Fushu Daiko and Ronin Taiko, Cosplay costume contests (dress like your favorite anime character), martial arts demonstrations, a sake station, a beer garden and a Japanese fashion show. A new addition is the Japanese Pop Art exhibit featuring early manga sketches and Pokemon memorabilia. Kid-specific activities include butterfly origami and a coloring station. Hear Dr. Oz at WPBF 25’s Health & Wellness Festival in Palm Beach Gardens
Dr. Mehmet Oz is returning to The Gardens Mall on Saturday for the WPBF 25 Health & Wellness Festival 2014. The free event runs this Saturday at 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oz’s wife, Lisa, will join him for this year’s presentation. The event features healthy cooking demonstrations, health care booths with product demonstrations and special activities for the whole family. 4th Annual CityPlace Art Festivalin West Palm Beach
The CityPlace Art Festival returns this Saturday and Sunday. The festival, which is in its fourth year, will include booths featuring an eclectic mix of paintings, jewelry, ceramics, sculptures and other pieces of contemporary art.
