There is so much to see and do at the Austin Children's Picnic and Real Food Fair 2014. Set up your own picnic from home to enjoy on the museum grounds or purchase some healthy fixin's directly from vendors on-site. Children and adults can learn how to plant and harvest their own crops thanks to on-site workshops. In fact, the one square foot gardens that your kids learn to plant in can be taken home to continue to cultivate and practice what they have learned.
Shop directly from local Austin farmers and food vendors at the Real Food Fair farmer's market. See how easy it is to make delicious "real" food at one of the cooking demonstrations. Kids will have the opportunity to explore through the Imagination Playground. You might even win a new kid's bike and helmet in the fair's raffle, courtesy of Bicycle Sport Shop in Austin. And that's only a few of the fun activities scheduled throughout the afternoon.
Set your children up for a happy life. Teach them a lifetime of healthy habits at the Austin Children's Picnic and Real Food Fair 2014. After all, the family that plays together, stays together.
