AR in Chester County's Daily Local

Last month ActiveRain encouraged members to be a part of their daily local real estate 'media team' and reach out to local news & media channels to share information. It seems that quite a few people had luck getting the word out through their local media, and I was fortunate enough to get a mention in Chester County's #1 newspaper, the Daily Local.

Using ActiveRain's infographic info on 'Biggest Seller Mistakes', I asked for some insight from local Realtors and fellow ActiveRain members Susan Mangigian and Nick Vandekar to include in a press release, and they certainly delivered. Though it was edited some and the infographic was not included, the press release did get placement on the front of the Sunday edition real estate section.

Bottom line - if you haven't looked into the ActiveRain media team, you should. The AR infographic and info supplied by the media team made it exceptionally easy to put together a press release. By simply taking a few minutes to get some local Realtor perspectives, I was able to not only put a local angle on the press release, but also get a few other Rainers included in the fun. I'm looking forward to putting more info together for local media outlets. With the help of the AR media group, and the network of expert agents that we all have here, it's SO easy to spread the word and get your name in the news. What better way to show that you're the local expert?

Pat - it was a great infographic by AR, and so easy to promote because every seller needs that info!

Hella- thank you, and yes, your credibility point is so true. I've written for numerous outlets, and each time I save my work should anyone question me knowledge/experience. It's a great help to have some print.
