Does “season” still exist in Naples Florida? The answer is a huge YES and a bigger NO.
We have our much loved “snowbirds” who tend to come down beginning in October. They leave in mid-November right before Thanksgiving and come back the day after Christmas. If they are “seasonal” residents they should be going back up north the day after Easter, previously that was the case.
A few years ago we noticed that the snowbirds were staying past Mothers Day in May. Then last year we noticed they were staying well into June and in some cases returning in July for a few weeks.
As far as renters, they tend, for the most part, to come down January 1 and leave March 31. That is standard. With renters we are seeing them checking into hotels on April 1 to give themselves a few more weeks of glorious weather instead of going home for the ever popular Spring ice storms. Renters also play hard during their 3 month visit to Naples. When they go home they wished they had purchased something sooooooooo they return in July.
Beginning April 16th we have another group that comes down to relax and in most cases purchase real estate. This group consists of the tax accountants and attorneys.
In June we have an influx of teachers from all over the country.
I can honestly say that September is a slow month. It’s the month that we get to take a breather and re-energize for the next “season” that begins in a few short weeks.
If you have never been to Naples Florida in the summer, I highly recommend you give it a try. Naples has NEVER ever reached 100 degrees. Never!!!!!!
Our restaurants offer us 2 for 1 dinners, free bottle of wine etc.
The beach is the most glorious. Bright sparkling, beautiful with the sand dollars washing ashore in July while the manatees are swimming and the dolphins are jumping right off shore. Boating is at it’s best.
Try it once and you’ll be back over and over again.
Call us, it’s time!!!
