Home sales in the Plano area were up 7% in February 2014 compared to last year, with 234 homes selling this month. So far this year, overall home sales have an increase of 3%, with 434 homes sold. New Plano real estate listings decreased 21% from last year, with 299 homes listed this month. For the year-to-date, home listings have decreased 13%, with 613 homes listed. The number of current listings under contract this month was down 23%, at 266 homes. Listings under contract for the year-to-date have decreased 10%, with 536 homes under contract.
