Imagine this; you are the manager (homeowner) in the 7th game of the World Series.

Your team is ahead 4 to 2 and it is the 9th inning. You have your closer in the bullpen (short sale specialist) anticipating starting the 9th inning to close out the game and be crowned champions. Instead you let your 36 year old hall of fame bound pitcher, Bill Shores that has pitched out of several jams during the game and is up to a 120 pitch count take to the mound. You are playing at home and the crowd can't believe that you are not bringing in your closer. You let your emotional sentimental memories get in the way of making a logical decision; after all you have coached this great pitcher since he was an 18 year old minor league phenom out of Abilene Texas.

Now let’s go to the 9th inning and here for the play by play is Jackie Smithers.

"Okay everyone here we are in this classic matchup, the last inning in Sportsman Park St Louis....Manager Yogi Sierra is rolling the dice by bringing out for one final inning, Bill Shores better known as the Abilene Train." The crowd falls to a silent buzz. "Okay folks....get out of the kitchen, take your eyes off your love one, time to buckle down and let’s see what history will be made!" The first batter is up.

Jackie Smithers, "And here is the pitch, and it is a ball. The count is 0 and 1 ......and here is the windup and the next pitch, strike one. The count is 1 and 1. That umpire is calling the pitches with a deafening passion. Bill Shores takes the ball and rubs it....now on the rubber and here is the pitch, "plunk" and he hits the batter. Well how about that folks.  We have one runner on and here is the next batter, the ever dangerous Ben Greive...and boy in his career he has given many a pitcher something to grieve about.  Bill Shores has his work cut out.  Now here is the stretch and the pitch....there is the swing and it lightning bolt of a line drive to center field. I think this is the end of Bill Shores with runners on 1st and 2nd and nobody out."

"Oh boy, how about this folks. Yogi Sierra after a long discussion with Bill is walking back to the dugout...and Yes! I have to see it to believe it but Bill is going to grind it out and continue pitching.  Somehow he believes he can finish this game. This is either a supreme act of courage or....well can't say this over the airways.

Now up to bat is Harmon Killashow....a powerful hitter and his name matches his imposing appearance. The count is 2 and 2 and it is a check swing....a slow roller to 3rd baseman Chris Santis and there is no play. The bases are loaded. And now the pitch from Bill Shores....and it is a ball.

The count is 3 balls and no strikes, the bases are loaded and there is nobody out. Here comes Yogi to finally change pitchers to bring his ace closer, Josh Gibson, a 21 year old 100 mile per hour pitcher....can he pull off a miracle?".....This is Jackie Smithers...signing off

It breaks my heart that many struggling homeowners get strung along before finally realizing that the rope they are grasping for help says "foreclosure".
