Weltanschauung: the guiding principles and philosophy of an organization; a world view
It sounded very German when I first saw this word. I've first seen it several years ago when Active Rain first introduced this word, then again recently (in January) when they posted about a January 2014 contest. Here we are at the end of March, my friend Patricia Kennedy has inspired the rest of us to write a Weltanschauung for our business.
I cant say I personally, completely understand what it means, but I'm going to try. It's also very fitting with my Sunday God First post.

I guess it's not surprising to most of you who have known me for many years. I've been very open about my faith as I feel that's the only thing I've got. It's my reason for being, it's my reason for doing.
Back in 2006, when I went to my first Mission trip, I heard God said clearly to me, "Your mission field is in Frisco TX" all the way in Kenya.
I came home,re-arranged my life and re-structure my real estate business to reflect what I clearly heard from God.
The Dallas & Fort Worth metroplex is a huge place yet, with the audible voice of God, I chose my niche to be this tiny place called Frisco Texas. Everything I did revolved around just Frisco Texas. My marketing. My website. My life.
Fast forward 7 years later, it became the best decision I made.
Through this 7 years, there were lots of celebratory moments as well as the disappointments. Once a while, I wonder if I'm on the right track when there's just too many heart-breaking moments. But the longer I am in this business, the more faith I grow in my walk as a Christ-follower.
My work is my ministry to those I'm called to serve. Real estate is just a platform God had asked me to use to connect with people He send to me.
My mission is simple and it's found in 1 Corinthians 3:6: I planted, Appollos watered but God made it grow. I'm just called to love on my clients, do what I can for them and hopefully, through my love, they can see My God who loves them so very much.
Until I'm moved, I'll continue to bloom where I'm called and in this very moment, it's through Real Estate. Our work is our ministry and we operate our business that way everyday.
