We actually call ourselves "First Fridays" because we meet the First Friday of every month. We are a diverse group of women business owners spanning a wide array of categories including real estate, flooring, painting, meeting organizer, promotional goods, personal organizer, graphic designer, website/SEO optimizer, water/mold remediation specialist and a few others.
While we do network with each other, our primary purpose is to help grow each others' businesses. We like to think of ourselves more as a mastermind group. Each month, we pick a topic that applies to all of our businesses and discuss and brainstorm ways for each of us to improve.
We support each other and encourage ourselves to take our businesses to the next level. We may helpful suggestions and introduce each other to useful contacts.
We embrace the buddy system when we see each other at networking events, introducing each other to our sphere's of influence.
We love to support other woman owned businesses. We welcome new members.
We have an abundance and sharing mentality. We know that by sharing and collaborating, we all come out ahead.
We are a free networking group. But, we generally meet over breakfast, so members are welcome to order/buy coffee and/or food, if that's what they choose. There are no membership dues.
A subsegment of the group owns this Active Rain account and they split the costs. We are trying to eventually work our way up to free membership.
