Easter Egg Hunts on Long Island 2014
Nothing says Spring like Easter egg hunts! Below are some great egg hunts in Nassau and Suffolk Counties:
Merrick Easter Egg Hunt
When: Saturday, April 12th 2014
Where: Fraser Park on Fraser Avenue, Merrick NY
Time: 11 a.m. sharp
There will also be the Matzos Beach Ball Toss and don't forget to bring your baskets!
White Post Farms Spring Spectacular
When: Saturday, April 5th 2014 and throughout April
Where: 250 Old Country Road Melville NY
Time: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Admission: $15.00 per person
Admission includes a photo with the Easter Bunny with your own camera, Easter egg hunts throughout the day, visiting with the animals on the farm. If the weather permits, the bounce houses will be available and is included in the admission price. You can print coupons here.
Sayville Falls Mini Golf
When: Saturday, April 12th 2014
Where: 30 Hanson Place, Sayville NY
Time: 3:00 p.m.
This event will take place rain or shine at 3:00 p.m. for 0-2 years old and 3:15 p.m for 3-5 years old. There will also be free mini golf for those 12 and under.
Stotzky Park Egg Hunt
When: Saturday April 12th 2014
Where: Stotzy Park 55 Columbus Avenue Riverhead NY
Time: 10 a.m. for children 0-3 with a parent; 10:30 a.m. for children 4 & 5 with a parent; 11:00 a.m. for ages 6 & 7 no parents permitted; 11:30 a.m. for ages 8 & 9 no parents permitted; 12:15 for ages 10 to 14. Meet at the picnic tables near the parking lot.
Rain Date: Sunday, April 13th 2014 at 1:00 p.m.
Walt Whitman Mall Easter Egg Hunt
When: Saturday, April 12th 2014
Where: 160 Walt Whitman Road, Huntington NY
Time: Registration at 8:30, Egg hunt begins at 9:00
Admission: $5.00 per child & Ages 9 and under - All proceeds will go to the Simon Youth Foundation
There will be 1,500 multi-colored plastic Easter eggs that will have candy and toys inside. After the hunt the kids can visit with the Easter Bunny so bring your camera! This even is limited to 150 children so get there early! All families are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item that will be donated to Long Island Cares.
