College Station Easter Celebration 2014
Now, I know that Easter won't officially be here until April 20th. But, that doesn't mean we have to wait that long to enjoy the festivities. I have it on good authority that the Easter Bunny will be making a special trip to host the College Station Easter Celebration 2014. Kids of all ages are going to want to participate in this one!
What: College Station Easter Celebration 2014
Where: George Bush Presidential Library & Museum (1000 George Bush Dr W)
When: Saturday, April 12 9:30am to 12pm
Contact: George Bush Presidential Library (979) 691-4014
The College Station Easter Celebration 2014 is patterned after the official White House Easter festivities. Events include an egg roll, egg toss and a wooden egg for each child designed after those given away each year at the White House. Plenty of Easter-themed games will commence throughout the day as well as face painting and a kite flying contest (BYOK - bring your own kite). The Easter Egg Hunt will be broken down into three groups: ages 3 and under, ages 4/5 and ages 6/7. A kid's bicycle helmet will be awarded to one lucky boy and girl in each age group.
If you want your child to win one of the door prizes donated by local College Station businesses or to have a chance to win a bike of their own, you will need to register them ahead of time. To do so, call the George Bush Presidential Library at (979) 691-4014 or come to the library at 9am on the day of the College Station Easter Celebration 2014 to get your last minute registration completed before the festivities commence.
The Easter Bunny will arrive for photo-ops at 10am. Pictures will be available for purchase on-site. Free refreshments will also be available. Dress your little boys and girls in their Easter best so they can join in on the College Station Easter Celebration 2014. It will be a great time for every bunny!
