This Week
The median list price this week for the Ballard area is $592,500 is up from last week’s $542,500. Inventory is tightening and days-on-market is falling. The Market Action Index (see below chart) shows demand heating up. These are relatively bullish signs for prices.
Supply and Demand
While the Market Action Index show some stregthening in the last few weeks, prices have settled in a git of a plateau. We currently are in a Seller's Market so prices will likely resume their climb should this trend persist.
Price
The Ballard real estate median list price continues to hovering around their current high point. Look for persistent downward shift in the Market Action Index before we see prices deviate from these levels.
