Success is a Decision

By
Real Estate Agent with Hardy Realty

Everyday I wake up, I thank God for my health and my family. I then decide if I am going to be happy and successful that day. I know so many people who walk around being so sad and negative. What if they simply made a decision every morning to be happy? There are many times I start to feel negative about the real estate market in these days, but then I remember back through all the years I have been doing this and realize I had those same despair feelings and BOOM, all of a sudden I had more than I could do. Then I just needed a break. We all know that real estate is a cycle and it will be back!

My trick that has always helped me be successful is that when I know I need to make a phone call I am not really excited about making, I tell myself this: If I try I will have a 50% chance of success, but if I do not even try I will have 100% chance of failure. So next time you hear someone talking real estate and you think "I should say something", but feel insecure, remember if you do you have a great chance of getting a new client! You can not be timid and successful in real estate. Take the extra step toward being great instead of good!

Happiness is a choice.  You will never suceed if you don't ask.  As you said, not asking always guarantees failure 100%.

I agree!  If you don't try you can't succeed!

Hi Karen,

Our attitude is so important to our success.  If we are positive and happy we will be able to accomplish much more!  Love your attitude.  Have a great week, I'm sure you will.  Michael A. Caruso

I always remember that song "rain drops on roses and whiskers on kittens. Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens -- silver white winters that melt into spring -- these are a few of my favorites things.... "   and then I don't feel soooo bad!

GREAT post!  So true, it is a choice, most often when it is the most difficult, the choice to succeed will make the difference.  Thanks for sharing.
