February showed some signs of activity picking back up in the Anthem Country Club. The number of homes sold was up over January, as was the average sale price. However, the days on market increased markedly as well, signifying that those homes that did sell in February had to endure the duldrums of the winter season. We are seeing a number of price reductions on homes as well as the reality of the market shifting slightly back in favor of the buyers has started to set in with sellers. The 12 mos. moving average sale price now stands at $371,602, 6% greater than last year’s. Again, that signifies that our market is flattening out a bit. The number of homes currently on the market stands at 113, a 13% increase over January, and the number of homes under contract in the Country Club is 22.
