Lake Michigan Water Usage Part II

By

Back on February 1st I did a blog on Lake Michigan Water useage in the Chicago area and the $100 million surplus in the coffers of the Dupage Water Commission. The Chicago Tribune on February 9, in the Metro Section ran a story about the "Dupage Water Rate is Lowered.

Pretty Good. Huh! They must have been scared by my blog, you think.

Well, if you believe that, I have some vacant land in Florida that I think you should buy. What ever the reason, $40 million is being removed from the reserves and the rate will be reduced to $1.25 per 1,000 gallons, see my blog. As expected, homeowners may not see much, if any, of the cash. Government, national or local, has a difficult time taking their grubby hands off of your money.
