Words.

Words are more than words right? Example: Speeches by MLK, JFK, William Wallace. Books by Shakespeare and Tom Robbins. Screen Play and Movies: Forest Gump, Glenngary Glenn Ross, Schildler's List & Pulp Fiction. Conversation with friends, loved ones, clients, customers and prospects. Words matter.

Words, word combinations, rhythm, meter and rhyme, where to begin, shadow and silence, how to end and what to leave out.

Understanding how to use words powerfully and on purpose would be a precious skill wouldn't it? I think so. In my life and maybe yours, what we say and how we say it, makes ALL the difference. All the difference my friends.

I'll be attending a sold out, three day writing workshop in Austin (I signed up early so I'm staying for free at the Engelbrecht House.) One of the instructors is Jeff Sexton. I've taken one his on-line writing courses....fantastic. Here's two stories I wrote as a home work assignment:
