Oh yes it's Monday again.....and after the Easter week-end, it might be a little harder for some to get started today. It's always harder to go back to work the day after a Holiday, especially if you know you will be dealing with Problems :) But after the first few hours you can get set to enjoy your Monday Gifts, or not :)
I have calls to make, and couldn't do it over the week-end. For starters my Website went down yesterday. I was trying to do some work, and went to the Admin Section of my site........it wouldn't let me in. Then I tried the main site, and got a message that said the site was temporarily unavailable.......what did that mean, unavailable?
I wasn't happy, and called my Hosting Company....they said it wasn't them, that it was the template designer. I had never heard of that, and since I couldn't get into my site, I had no way to check this out......ugggggggh.
So for me today is a mixed day. Today I can make phone calls to people who only work M-F, and try to solve the types of issues we encounter in our day to day work. But also I get to start a new week....new hopes, and new dreams....... For that I am grateful :)
Today, this Monday is the first Monday of Spring. A Day to not just solve Problems, but to take time to listen to the brids, and enjoy the new growth all around you. So smile, and enjoy these little gifts :)
Gift#1 I found this in the Readers Digest Household Hints and Handy Tips (1994).... Protection from Wildlife:
Deerproof shrubs or other plants by surrounding them with a trail of Lion Manure. Zoos give it away. Deer give it a wide berth. (Was this correct, go to a zoo and get Lion Crap for my garden at $3,65 a gallon for gas.....yep will rush right over :)
Gift#2 Also from the same book: and I love this one.....it validates my style :)
On Planning your cleaning: "Decide what 'clean' means to you and then keep house accordingly. Clean things because they're dirty, not because it's time." (now that's something I like to hear)
Ok, so after you drive over to the zoo, and pick up some Lion Crap, you have permission to only clean what you think is dirty......now that's a Monday to remember :) :)
