I am Haunted by Waters
Water is one of the most spectacular resources on our planet. I love it in all forms. Falling as rain or snow, puddling up for kids to splash, filling lakes, rivers and streams, or frothy, salty waves rolling onto a beach.
It’s always rejuvenating - and depending upon the body of water and it’s application, it can be either relaxing, or invigorating. Water is actually quite remarkable, and as Japanese scientist Dr. Masaru Emoto has shown, it has a memory.
Emoto has conducted many experiments with frozen ice crystals showing that the most beautiful creations happen when accompanied by beautiful music, positive and loving words or intentions. This video shows his work in action - it’s long, but worth a few minutes to see the magic.
Dr. Emoto’s conclusions about water are controversial - and some scientists claim it’s nonsense. By the way, there’s an experiment at the end of the video - if you’re game, you can test his theory about universal energy and the power of vibration and resonance.
Most of us agree, words and intentions are very powerful. Regardless of the reason, it makes sense to be mindful of the type of energy our thoughts are creating. Joy, empathy, kindness, and respect are all a worthwhile focus for our intentions, words, and actions.
Eventually, all things merge into one, and a river runs through it. The river was cut by the world’s great flood and runs over rocks from the basement of time. On some of the rocks are timeless raindrops. Under the rocks are the words, and some of the words are theirs.
I am haunted by waters.
