I started working in Real Estate back in the spring of 2003. I diligently spent all of the time I could doing floor time and taking every class I could. Soon after I started I had my first firm lead. A couple from the northeast was making the move to Florida. They were only in town for a few days and wanted to be sure they had a firm contract to buy a home before they left to go home.
On the first day I took them out I was driving my old Cadillac Deville. It had been quite reliable but the day I first took them out to look at homes was the day the AC decided to quit working. Temps were in the upper 80's and I was worried that being from the north they would suffer miserably. They however were very kind and went on to see all of the houses scheduled. The second day I did drive my husbands pickup in which the AC was working great. It was just a bit crowded with only the front bench seat. They were a great first couple for me to work with and did not complain.
I did write my first contract with them and stayed in touch for many years after, stopping in occasionally to visit when I was in the area of their new home.
Was overall a good experience with such great clients.
