Jess Reid Real Estate Celebrates its 30th Year in Park City

As one of Park City’s longest running and prestigious real estate companies, Jess Reid Real Estate recently celebrated is 30th Anniversary. Jess Reid formed his own real estate company in1983, and since then, he’s been a major player in the Deer Valley/Park City luxury real estate markets.

Reid remembers the time (three decades ago) when you could purchase a lot in Silver Springs for a mere $19,000. He also said that a furnished condo at Park City Mountain Resort went for $30,000.

Gone are the days when you could purchase a property in Park City anywhere from $20,000 to $30,000. Since then, Park City has grown into a world-class ski resort that demands an average of $1 million for a single-family home.

Today, Jess Reid Real Estate is a proud affiliate of Christie’s International Real Estate (CIRE). Reid says his relationship with Christie’s gives his company an international edge that allows them to advertise luxury properties to a world-wide audience through prestigious magazines and brochures. As an example, Jess Reid has the ability to advertise luxury properties in the Wall Street Journal and CIRE magazine.

The company’s exclusive affiliation with Christie’s also allows them to become a part of an international network of realtors and brokers, providing Jess Reid the opportunity to share leads for potential clients throughout the world.

The company is also in the process of expanding its advertising on Christie’s International Real Estate (CIRE) website and other prestigious publications. Reid said he is proud to be a part of a company with the highest level of services available in the world.

Over the years, Jess Reid has made a difference in the Park City/Deer Valley area. In 1978, he managed a Park City branch of the largest real estate firm in Utah. Reid formed his own real estate company in 1983, and shortly after, he listed his first property at the base of Park City Mountain Resort.

Reid is no stranger to awards and accolades. He served as president for the Park City Board of Realtors and the Park City Rotary Club. Reid also received the Park City Leadership Award in 2011.
