Mission Viejo Dog Park to Open - April 2014
The long awaited Mission Viejo La Paws Dog Park will be opening to the public on April 12, 2014 starting with a grand opening celebration. The 6 acre park is located on Felipe Road just south of La Paz Rd and adjoining Gilleran Park.
The celebration is scheduled from 9am-12pm with dog oriented vendors, free food, sketch artist and the Girl Scouts on hand to make for a full event.
Nearly 12 years in the planning, La Paws Park features separate areas for large dogs, small dogs and single dogs (those not quite ready to socialize) as well as a perimeter pathway/walking trail.
Come on out on April 12th with your dog and enjoy the day. I can;t predict the weather but forecasts seem to indicate sunny warm days ahead.
