I remember being told this a very time ago and it is true. "One deal does not a career make." Business like life, if we are lucky, is a long run, a marathon if you will and not a quick sprint. I know people and I suspect you do too, that are in it for the fast score, a hurried buck or let's get to the next one. What I have learned over the years is that if you treat people well, help them get where they want to be and keep in touch, you will have a client and maybe more, for life. My friend, Tammy Lankford , is the personification of this way of doing busy. She makes her clients her friends and never wants for clients. If you don't follow Tammy, do so and learn about patience, professionalism, and all things Lake Sinclair, a magical area in Georgia.
Sheila: Words of wisdom indeed. You have to keep working every day. Have a great week.
Very true Sheila. Can I say been there done that? Working on a closing today just because of that.
I still remember some of my first clients, They do make an impression, and if we do our job right, we will as well.
Sheila, that is very true. I've been contacted over the last few days by two former customers who I worked with five or six years ago but still stayed in contact at least from my end. It's a long term commitment.
Tammy is extraordinary. And, so are you. I am following your journey and wish you all the best.
