Some of my friends are not content with good and have to have or be great. Sometimes in the midst of a transaction these folks have the need to let everyone know of the heroic things they have done to keep the deal on track and so they tell all only to create more trouble than they could have ever imagined. I have seen this happen and even observed people get so angry about things they didn't need to know in the first place, that transactions have fallen apart. Keeping it real is about doing your job and letting it look easy. Anybody can do hard, choose easy and get it done.
Sheila - I think this may be my favorite blog on AR so far! Close the deal...toot your horn after the fact (at home alone). Geez! I am a big fan of not alarming folk unnecessarily.
There is so much in this sparse little piece to admire and, hopefully, emulate. Thank you, Sheila, for giving this its due. And, reminding people that the pride that they are postulating is little remembered by anyone other than themsleves.
Sheila: Who made that famous quote "never let them see you sweat". And drama during a transaction can't be good.
Hi Sheila, I fully subscribe to what you are saying here. It is bad enough when they broadcast this verbally but when it is online, it is unforgiveable.
I certainly sympathize with the frustrations agents can have and admire those heroic actions I know sometimes happen, but agree sometimes it should be just those who are "need to know" and let it look easy to the clients.
Good morning friends and thank you for stopping by and leaving your comments and offereing your support: I really appreciate it.

Hi Suzanne. I appreciate your insight. Thank you for saying what you did.
Hello Hella. Drama is never a good thing outside the theater.
