She's right if you don't try it you won't learn it, How many of you have used the help button?  Or just played around with publisher to see what it can do?  If you don't use the newly learned skills you will forget and have to relearn it.  Many of the skills if have acquired were from just playing around on the computer to see what something will do, you can always delete:)
