Interesting, in what part of town is it located?

The Net Zero Home Tour sounds like it would be an interesting time spent looking at some unique homes Jan.

Hi Jan - I'd love to do that tour. I've heard a lot about Net Zero homes but there are very few in our area yet.

I'm glad I went to this open house,   I learned quite a bit about what goes into building a green home like this.  The food truck was a great idea, there's no better way to get to know a home than to sit in the kitchen for dinner.

Jan, it was nice to meet you, you put on a great open house.  Here's the shot I took I promised I'd post in your blog.

I'd love to have an zero-energy home, a space that relies on exceptional energy conservation and on-site renewable energy to meet heating, cooling and energy needs.

I think, the properties like that are our future. But you are right, we can start little with some daily energy saving activities, gardening, reusing, and recycling:)
