I enjoy spotting fountains when I am out showing property, driving to new places and even at the home improvement stores. Ialways have a camera or my phone so I like to get out and take a picture.

I have always had a fountain at all of the houses I have owned. It is so much fun to watch the birds take baths in the mornings and relaxing to sit and enjoy in the evenings. I am particularly fond of lion fountains.

Hi Endre,

Yes, I totally agree and waiting for my new fountain to be delivered next month. We have had the big 3 bowl fountains several times but this one is just a big jug with the water drizzling out the top and down the side. There is less splash and it shouldn't have to be filled up as often either.

Hi William,

Fountains are so fasinating and I cannot resist getting out of the car and taking pictures of them. I like to collect them and have a new one with elephants but couldn't find it tonight???

Kristin, I see fountains at other people's homes and like the look. I just never thought I could keep one going.

My wife and I were just talking about adding a water feature to our back patio for 2 reasons sound and aesthetics. Thanks for the inspiration.

Hi Donna,

Yes Bird Baths do count for enjoying birds in the water but the fountain give you the sounds of the moving water.

Kristin, Fountains are both beautiful and relaxing and if you tire of the water part, you can also plant beautiful flowers in the different tiers for a much different effect!

Kristin, the sounds of a water feature are so soothing to me! I have had many an indoor fountain and we tried recently to find one to put in our entry outside....came close but nothing fit and now we're selling our beautiful home (boohoo...that's another story). I loved all of these, the girl with fishes and the one with the bird were two of my favs.

Hi Wanda,

We had one that splashed so much that we did just end up putting pretty flowers in it and then we could still enjoy it. That was a good idea Wanda as I had forgotten that.

Hi Patricia,

I am sure you would enjoy it and we had really cold weather but the water was moving most of the time so it only froze up one or two nights and by the end of the day, it had thawed out.

Hi Gayle,

Well all I can say is wherever you end up moving, you will have a beautiful home and maybe find the right spot for a fountain there.
