Palomino walking horse eating

I was driving by the Pecan Grove in Bastrop when I spotted this and it tickled me so much I had to make a U turn and go back for a picture to share with you all.

The Pecan Grove is a fairly large pecan plantation that grows a number of different types of pecans annually sold in bulk and thru their small retail outlet on the plantation.  They also have some very nice minature horses and onkeys, and walking horses.

That's hilarious!  LOL  Looks like he really got "lost in the moment" in that round of hay!  Thanks for the Monday smile!

That is a great photo! I wonder if it tastes better in the middle?

That is hysterical...I love the fact that we can capture things like that on the road!  Thanx for giving me a good laugh

What a fun photo! I've seen cattle do the same thing - I am guessing it tastes better, like your Oreo, if you eat the middle first!

Carol, Leesa, Todd & Danielle, Chirs, Patrice, and Debbie - Sorry no response but I had surgery and have been out for a few days.  I would love to be there when the top and bottom of the bale become the middle again!

This is one of the reasons that we are supposed to carry our camera every where we go.

I love this photo.   Today my new camera should arrive and I can wait to start using it.

An Onkey is a minature paint donkey by the name of Oreo (notice his colors in the back ground).  Great shot Georgina who is this nosey fellow?

I know all about hay hogging horses.

At least the prairie is alive and green and the pastures are open again.
