I just held my first seminar! Talk about Hot! The topic " Buying a home with $500 down" went over very well. We had more than 75 people who showed to listen to myself and my associate.
The speakers Opened the Floor for Q&A. The first 3 questions all very good questions, dealing with credit scores and locating a home. The 4th question the gentleman stands up and starts in with "Carlton Sheets" and how he can purchase a home with NO CREDIT,NO MONEY, NOTHING. He starts ranting and raving. My partner who is alot more fluent in dealing with these Whackos politely asks "Have you or anyone that you know been able to actually do this?" "Why NO he responds" As a matter of fact he responds he just signed up for Carlton`s personal trainer to teach him why he`s not! My partners asks "OK, how Much?" With that he tells us and the audience that he just sent them $5,000 for this seminar.. T
The crowd erupts in laughter one lady tells him to "Shut Up". My partner tells him that this seminar is factual and wishes him well with his trainer...
After the Q&A, I had 9 people crowd me asking for my card and I have 3 appointments to start showing property. I tried to flag this man, and tell him about our next seminar next month but he vanished! This person was the best advertisement that I ever seen. I will carefully search him out if he ever appears again! He made my day!
