Does the VA really want to sell its properties?
I don’t believe that they do.
Their asset managers constantly threaten, abuse, and torment potential buyers and their real estate agents.
They see buyers as nuisances and truly believe that they have no obligation to treat them with common business courtesy or respect.
I have a suggestion to make the workload easier for the VA asset mangers.
Keep your dam* houses off the market.
Then you won’t have to bothered with buyers anymore.
Richard sorry you're having such a ridiculously hard time with VA homes. And honestly I don't do them either because after doing everything in my power a couple of years ago for my 2 buyers to buy VA homes ...they both fell through. Why put our clients through that....who does that make sense to? Nobody.
I have done only 2 in 16 years and both were nightmares and that was before the fiasco of this housing crises.
It's so rare for us to even have a VA listings in our area because so much of our market is vacation homes that I've only had one under contract in my entire career... and what do you, it didn't close.
Richard: Sometimes I have to wonder how badly ANY government body (or its assigns) want to transact their homes. I just went through an awful sale and Closing with another government entity. It was a comedy of errors and neglect ...
