Carrollwood is one of Hillsborough County's first planned communities in the Tampa area. It was originally established in the 1960's. It has beautiful homes with traditional Florida ambience. Carrollwood is mainly a residential area approximately 10 miles northwest of downtown Tampa, The sparkling water of Lake Carroll is in the center of the area. Carrollwood is located along North Dale Mabry. Carrollwood's good schools, churches, ample shopping and outstanding restaurants make it a wonderful home location. Prices range from the mid $100,000's to over $1,000,000 for lake front sites. Carrolwood has beautiful single family homes, villas, townhomes, condos, and waterfront estates.
