China and Yahoo Electrify Stocks

Stocks started the day on a positive note and the Dow was up 100 points by 9:40.  Improved manufacturing date from China combined with a strong earnings report from Yahoo afforded traders a chance to allay their fears.  to complement that the FEDs' beige book pointed to improved activity in the economy in many regions of the country.  each of the major exchanges had strong days with the Dow closing up 162 points.
