The Ocean County Artists' Guild in Toms River is a non-profit organization working to promote the arts in Ocean County drawing in artists and patrons from around the region. Their mission is to serve the artists and community; to provide an outlet and training for artistic talent, to enhance the quality of life for the residents and thereby attract newcomers, and to provide an attraction to draw tourists to the community.
They provide exhibition space for members on a monthly basis and hold solo shows for selected artists who may be members or live outside the area. They offer classes for both adults and children, workshops, demonstrations, open studio time with live models and cultural programs.
They welcome active artists of every level.
The Gallery Gift Shop showcases contemporary and traditional fine art and crafts for sale.
Members are encouraged to submit their work for display.
The Guild is open to the public Tuesday through Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m. Admission is free.

The Guild was founded in 1957 in Island Heights along the Toms River sits an historic Victorian house that is bustling with excitement and creativity.
Now, a half century later, with a membership of 500 and a dynamic calendar of events , the spirit continues to thrive with artists demonstrations, workshops and classes.
