Ok, that doesn't sound nice, does it... but it does if you want to win the fight of gaining unwanted pounds! So, I wanna be a LOSER! I have yo-yo dieted off and on, but I know what works for me (well it did in the past). I have a class reunion I need to get back in shape for, plus a vacation planned where I would like to feel ok to head to the beach again. So, my plan is this, back to toning classes on tues/thurs and learning how to use the "beast" in my basement (bowflex monster). I will go back to my Protein, little carb diet, and plan on getting back down to 145. (Ok, I'm brave, but not brave enough to say how many pounds I need to lose to get there!).

Thanks Derek, for giving me the motivation to do it. And since I see this in writing, it makes it a promise to keep and a goal to reach. I'll be watching everyone here... --Carla

Carla - It doesn't matter how many pounds you have to lose... it's a goal and you can do it!

Carla - Thank you SO much for joining!  I am excited we are up to almost 10 people and I am going to dedicate myself to this everyday ... to the sucess of all of us.  We will make sure you lose that weight, and make that reunion and vacation all the better!

I will be posting my daily results to keep me motivated, and to hopefully keep others going, as well.

Lots more people here than when I joined! Carla, I'm trying one thing at a time. I'm just trying to exercise regularly. I really don't eat that badly- and if I exercise I find my appetite goes down naturally. Good luck, we can all encourage each other!

Ok, it's now April 9th. My eating habits have improved, not much loss to mention yet...but I really need to impliment the exercise daily....more than just extra walking. Baby steps aren't working. How is everyone else doing?

Carla - I am working on baby steps and it comes off soooo slowly for me. I'm ready for the big time. Now if I could just get my body to agree. :-)
