Hi! This is my first blog (funny word) what does it stand for? is it an acronym? I have heard that blogs help with your business. I hope so, since things have slowed down a lot here in the valley of the sun, Phoenix metro. Does anyone have anything encouraging to say today about their blogging experience as it relates to real estate? I'm hoping to get some referral business. I know there are buyer's out there, they have been visiting my listings!

Hi Carla! Welcome aboard. I'm glad to see that you're not affraid to take action. Sometimes we all just need to get gently coached in the right direction. Other times it takes a swift kick in our aspirations! Anyway, I'll keep an eye on your blogging progress as you find your unique style and voice in the market.

PS. By the way, blog is short for web log. In it's basic form, a blog is just an online journal that opens a dialogue with the readers. Sometimes the responses will take on a life of their own. My recommendation is to visit many other blogs on ActiveRain and others and see how they are written. Best of luck!

Carla, boy are you in for a treat! If you have never blogged before, be prepared. Just blog about what you know and like and the business will follow. It may take awhile as with all advertising, but unlike other forms of advertising blogging doesn't cost a dime!
