Nice, Andrea. That's a great idea. I've heard of this in other parts of the world, but not around here. Very nice.

I love the idea of bike stations supplied with bikes.  I have seen stations in other cities where people could park their own bikes, as you would park a car.

Hi Margaret, this is a great way to explore the Metro DC area. And it beats sitting in traffic any day.

Love the idea Mike. Just wish some had the kiddie bikes attached.. then I could take advantage of it, too.

Hi Sharon, it's super convenient when you don't have to ride it back.. just explore or ride from A to B.

Thank you Lisa!

I agree Donna.. much more enjoyable then fighting traffic and trying to score a parking spot.

It reminds me Europe. I really liked this option to explore the city. We don't have anything like this in Los Angeles:(

nice photo that brought back memories of our trips to Europe.  I think this will become more common in the US over time

Hi Andrea, at first glance I thought you took this  photo in Germany or the Netherlands, that's were I was momentarily transferred to.  I think this is a great program!

How did I miss your comments?

I agree Inna, it does have a European touch, perhaps that's why I like it so much.

I think so, too, Eric. Walkable communities and spending less time commuting and stuck in traffic has become much more important. A bike-share program is a great addition.

It could have been taken in Europe Silvia, isn't it great?!
