Perfect Puzzle Piece I have figured out in life, besides seeking happiness, we are ALWAYS looking for "fit." Who is it that gets our little weird self? What business relationship will "work"? There is a quotation for personal or business relationships that goes something like,

Stop Crossing Oceans For People Who Wouldn't Jump Puddles For you.

Profound. It is the essence of commitment and dedication in ANY relationship. ALL connections are not meant to be, and if you can't get to two ocean crossers MOVE ON. Try, but don't kill yourself if it ain't happening.

In personal relationships with significant others or someone you consider "family" the counselors call it NOT giving 50-50 but giving 100-100. Those work out best.

If you are a REALTOR, Stager, Lender, etc. in Housing, they call it WIN-WIN. Between principal and client. Even between Buyer and Seller. You can see when it is not working, but more important an Ocean and a Puddle hooked up, YOU FEEL the mismatch. Here's to finding many Ocean Crossers FOR YOU in your personal and business life!!

Now, see, I'd say you have to give 150% even if the other side only contributes 100%. I'm probably much more pragmatic as I tend to focus on the end result to justify the means.

Gary, I'm someone who often uses the square peg in the round hole mentality...if it's just not coming together without forcing it, then it AIN'T MEANT TO BE.
