Middlesex Community College Computer Club Electronic Recycle Day

The Middlesex Community College Computer Club is hold an Electronic Recycle Day on Thursday April 24th in the Parking Lot of the Middlesex Community College on Training Hill Road, Middletown, CT.  I don't know about you, but for me the Middlesex Community College Computer Club Electronic Recycle Day is a welcome event, because I got a number of items to dispose of.

Middlesex Community College Computer Club is partnering up with the Green Monster e-Cycling for this event to celebrate Earth Week.  There is no charge to drop off your unwanted electronic equipment, but the Middlesex Community College Computer Club would appreciate donations which will be used to purchase computers for needy Middlesex Community College Students.

All of the electronic items listed below will be accepted and more.  So drop off all of your old unwanted:

Computers & Laptops

Printers

Televisions

Fax Machines

Modems/Routers/Switches/Hubs

Toner and Inkjet Cartridges

Stereos/Radios

DVD/CD Players

iPods/Walkmen/PDAs

All Storage Media*

Medical Equipment

Lab Equipment

Mainframes & Server Racks

All Types of Cables and Wiring

Anything with a Cord or Battery

If you are concerned about dropping off computers which have personal information on the hard drive, you do not need to be, because Green Monster guarantees that all data will be wiped or destroyed from all hard drives.

The following Electronic Equipment will not be accepted:

Air Conditioners

Washers/Dryers

Refrigerators

Lightbulbs Household Batteries
