Chino Airport Tour and Air Show!
Have you ever wondered about the Chino airport and what this facility has to offer? On Thursday, May 1 from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. PDT, there will be an open house and a chance to tour this remarkable air port facility and see what it has to offer. To RSVP, click here and follow this link. The address is 7000 Merrill Ave, Chino, CA 91710. This is a world class facility and to be able to get inside the gates is a rare opportunity indeed. You will meet many business owners, residents and local aviators in a relaxed setting. You will also be able to catch a glimps of the coming attractions at this year's airshow, take a tram tour throughout the airport grounds, walk throught a Gulfstream G02 jet aircraft and explore vocational opportunities in the field of aviation.
There is also Yanks Air Museum to visit as well. Tour this museum to see some of the fighter aircraft used in the past. Also visit the boneyard to see some of their future projects. Fly in visitors are welcome as well. Please consult current charts, NOTAMs and weather forecasts before flying to KCNO, Chino Airport. After you land request transient parking to Yanks Air Museum located at the Northwest end of runway 26R, off taxi way Golf. Once your aircraft is secured, proceed to the Gift Shop for admission and entrance stickers.
On May 2, the day after the open house, there will begin a world class air show. Many Eastvale residents have been able to see this air show just by sitting in their front yard. So if you ever wanted to visit Eastvale during an airshow, be sure to come on out during these airshow days.
