Design To Market Home Staging: Family rooms that make a difference!

Families spend most of their "together" time in the family room.  Often the emotional decision to purchase a home is impacted by the perceived livability of these spaces.  Take a look at these properties staged by Cincinnati's Design To Market and think about the impact on a prospective buyer.

Jo, great makeovers. The rooms definitely look more functional and inviting.

Jo: Your staging really does make a difference. With your furniture and acessories, buyers can really see and experience the potential of the space. They don't have to imagine.

Yes - these rooms especially need to make sense to buyers as far as where their furniture will go and how they will use the room.

Thanks for your comments Michelle and Tori.  I do think that staging vacants makes the spaces real for a prospective buyer and that they can mentally place their furnishings in the home.

Great job!  Just another example of how a touch of red can warm up a room!  Whether it's a rug, window treatments, or pillow, the touch of red makes a room more interesting. I love it!

Jo,

So true! The main rooms of a house need to grab the attention of potential buyers!  Buyers need to envision themselves living in these spaces.  Your Family Room staging examples are fantastic!  Continued success!

Jo - WOW!  I love the changes you made in the family room.  Replacing the furniture made the room far more calmer looking and very inviting.  Great job!

Congratulations.  Your post is being featured in the group; Staging Before & After Pictures.

Pillows!  They are a stagers friend.  We have found that bringing color to rooms through the use of accent pillows can really make a space come alive!
