Thinking Ahead Will Help with the WX Freeway and Fix50 in Sacramento

By
Real Estate Agent with Elizabeth Anne Weintraub, Broker DRE #00697006

A charming seller called yesterday from the Monterey Bay area to talk about selling a duplex in Fair Oaks next month. We tentatively scheduled a day to meet at the property so I can shoot photos when it dawned on me that the seller will be traveling over Business 80, right through the WX Freeway mess and smack dab into the Fix50 project. It didn't seem right to not help with this, so I pulled up Google maps and gave the seller directions through Sacramento and explained why an alternate route was so important.

As a Sacramento real estate agent, I will be helping my clients find alternate routes for this freeway construction a lot over the next couple of months.

Of course, on another front, I'm still struggling with how to find these Liz Claiborne shorts I am madly in love with but over the years have begun to fall apart and shred a bit at the seams. I have a pair, in red and in black, which I'd like to replace, but I discovered that will be impossible, plus a few more things I didn't know about Liz Claiborne. You can read more in my personal blog about that and about The WX Freeway and Fix50 Project Make Google Maps Your Friend.

Kate Spade is married to David Spade?  WHAT?  I didn't know that.  And I honestly don't know why I am shocked.  I guess I respected her brand.  I have a pair of Kate Spade eyeglass frames and love them.

I really don't give a rats behind who is married to who or for that matter what.  Going above and beyond to take into consideration the route the seller is going to take says volumes about you.

Liz, the solution to your need of shorts can be had by routing your client through an area where he could pick up some new shorts for you!

Put 40 years of experience to work for you

Hey Joan: We haven't had a project this close to downtown that affects so many people for years.

Hi Chris Ann: She is not married to David Spade but to his brother.

Hi Conrad: Yeah, those hover cars -- everybody should have one but only a few of us were lucky enough to get one.

Hi James: It's a little selfish in a way with some guilt thrown in for good measure because I want her to be on time for our meeting, LOL. Plus, I don't want her saying why didn't I tell her about Fix50. If I can help somebody, I will, though.

Hi Gabe: I'm never gonna find another pair of those shorts, I'm afraid.
