When they say JUMP!” Do you say “How High?”

Not necessary now that you work for yourself and you're the boss. There are some clear advantages and they are:

  • Setting your own goals
  • Defining your target market
  • Measuring the work standard
  • Creating the office environment
  • Consistently reaching out to SOI
  • Ability to exceed client expectations

Together, this list will build your business, determine your client’s needs and give you a competitive edge in any market; one that exudes professionalism and achievement. And make you JUMP for JOY at your success instead of jumping to attention!

When you’re ready to do so, of course.

Happy sales all!

Wanda,

Ah, the how high syndrome happens when someone thinks very "lowly" of themselves, and becomes a lackey.  Ron and I were remembering someone in the news whom we had met for a listing presentation.  He had a "yes" man who would have jumped out of the window at his command...we left and did not want to work for someone  like that.  A

Alexandra, You made the right decision for yourselves! I once worked for a company where one of the people in charge would yell and scream and demean people just because it fed his ego. I cringed when he was anywhere near, just waiting for the 'next time', so glad to work for myself. Love this industry.

I wouldn't say jump, but my efforts are to make sure they don't have to look for help on anything. The true act of an agent is to anticipate the question and to offer a suggestion before the client realizes they need something

I should not have to jump, but I will move fast if I feel it is appropriate.

Ed, You are an exceptional agent with many years of experience, who is both helpful and knowledgeable. Not necessary to jump on demand!

Bill, I will move quickly toward meeting deadlines as well and give an honest opinion when needed.
