Howdy great Texas Real Estate group...Marchel and I have saddled up again to ride around our groups last two weeks of post in search of the best of the best. As always it was a tough decision picking from this groups posts. I sincerely mean it that in my humble opinion we have some of the most talented group of writers/blogers on Active Rain! Do your self a favor and click on the links below to find our some very interesting information and awesome pictures about everything Texas from Chocolates to wine, and flowers to skunks! Did I mention we were also a creative bunch too. You still have time to get your vote in for the name of our handsome mascot, and also a few days left to get your post in for the best old church in Texas. That contest and the name of our new mascot will be picked the end of this month. FYI we now have 235 members in our group, so we're growing and getting stronger all the time. Next month our contest will be, "The Best Place In Texas To View Blue Bonnets". That should make for some great pictures along with some good information to pass on to your clients who might be new to Texas and looking for something fun for the whole family to do. Get your camera out, and get going, the search is on! Hey Liz - Me again, people are going to think we have something going on that I've been chosen three times. I'm blushing... Thanks for recognizing me for another in My Everything Texas Series. We live in such a great state and have so much to offer; that's why you guys and gals keep selling those houses in what everyone calls "a bad economy". My home inspection business has not faultered so I know we in Texas have our act together. Thanks again, Carl

Congratulations to all the AR's above that were also recognized. Great information representing Our Great State of Texas.

Virginia, oh dear you really need help! A blue bonnet is our state of Texas flower! You didn't learn that in history class? Oh I forgot Texas is the only state that gives as much history about our state as it does the US :)...we're special...don't you know! Here is a picture for you my friend. flowers

Texas highways are planted in blue bonnets and wild flowers for miles and miles, really a beautiful time in Texas.

Hey Liz!!! What's this!!??!! Why is Carl's picture larger than everyone else's!!!??? You playing favorites!!! :) ROFL

My dear friends Carl & Judi, running a group takes a lot of time. It took me to 4 AM to get this done, and Marchel noticed I had messed up and put Carl's first post instead of the Honey Bee one. This happened because AR is not real friendly about trying to keep one on featured without it rolling into the "More Featured" part at the top, so I had to finely un post the L & M contest one, then repost it to get it back at the top of the group home page. In the process I inadvertently un stared several of the blogs in the "More" section.

So long story short (hard for me :), if either of you want to fix Carl's picture to make it the same size as the rest, be my guest!

I still have not got my church post written, guess I'll be up till 4 again tonight on that...oh the woes of being in charge. Carl I did not get an e-mail? Judi what does the ROFL mean?

Enough of Blogging 101 for tonight -- it's late and I'm tired and I have had and am having a very busy week and next week is no different. Gotta get sleep -- 2 new listings, 1 new buyer, plus another buyer coming in town this weekend. Plus the TX AR Gathering, a dinner for another group I'm in -- I'm the hostess this time and we need a restaurant to meet at and announcements to go out!!! Carl, I have a new listing in New Braunfels. I'll be up there regularly until we get it sold.

RI........I'm thinking......humhumhum....Real Estate Inspector????? Darn these women always scheming; a man just don't have a chance. Even talking about Hi-Jacking somebody at Bandera Pass. Don't they have anything better to do. Liz and Judi is the worst. I'm going to have to leave and go hang out with the other HI's. I bet they won't even miss me.

Carl, what do you mean Liz and Judi are the worst??? You know I'm sweet and innocent. I don't scheme. Ricki was talking about Ambushing me at Bandera Pass!!! I then, changed it to Alan being ambushed at Bandera Pass because he was misbehaving (as usual). Seems like Liz could get me in trouble too.

Ok, I'm going back to work. Got that listing in New Braunfels today. i'll be going up to New Braunfels a lot until we get that property sold.

Better watch it Ms. Judi, New Braunfels grows on you. Maybe you need to sell and move to Comal county. You won't hae to fight the 1604 traffic. Just sell in N.B., Wimberly, Bulverde, Canyon Lake, Seguin area. Of course, Don will have a long drive to Toyota. Many of he inspections have been people moving to this area from out-of-state; therefore should sell quickly. Further north, other side of N.B. they are building a whole comples of outlet stores and I heard another hospital.

Oh thanks - I thought LOL meant Lots of Luck and Laugh Out Loud.

Oh No - Liz is looking for another Logo for something???? I like the little devil stirring the pot. He has character.

Oh yeah, I definitely know Alan K. -- he's another trouble maker with a capital T! The devil stirring the pot would fit Mr. MC and Mr. RI. hehehehehehe

Judi, only problem with the lady bugs, which fits us very well, being that we are ladies, and cute + red is a power color, so that's 3 for the LB's...I'll keep thinking on that.

Carl, after your latest crimes I am considering taking back the RI...Respecter Inspector, kinda catchy though. I'm still looking for the proper punishment and will put it on the L&M post, so don't sweat too much, but it's gonna be bad :) LB's, for now!

Carl,you just sleet really nice and sound tonight...as my Daddy always said, "Sleep tight and don't let the bed bugs bite"...guess in this case it should be changed to lady bugs bite :).

MC, I've been hoping you come by and help poor Carl out, he is just lost with us gaging up on him:). Nope we gotta keep MC. so it will be our little secret unless RI blabs about it to everyone! You should check out the stuff he stirred up on the L & M contest post...he started it!

I had drinks served up for us over there, but I can't make it any longer, I finely took a pill and going to bed. I talked about it over there so don't what to go into it again but my poor Thor died this afternoon. She was my love, and 20 years old, the bad thing was I wasn't there to be with her at the end, but they held up the phone so I go to talk to her. Night all, L

I put a couple of pictures up of Thor on a comment I made on here if you want to see my baby, she used to be such a beatutiful solid black cat, but she has not been feeling well for almost a year now. These were taken last week.

Hey Carl,yes I love it, Bill trimmed all the vines out of the trees by the road, so I'm burning too :). We have 3 1/2 acres, but there is hardly anyone around, so it feels like 10 times that. Got to go home Wed., and it's going to be hard not seeing Thor there. I will be writing the post about all the winners of the contest tonight, I'm sorry yours did not get picked, it was very good.
