I saw this little saying the other day and it makes a great point...
Why is there always enough time to do something a second time and Never enough time to do it right the first time?
In this world of fast pace life, we are always on a hurry.
Doesn't it make sense to save time by spending a few extra minuets to do a job right the first time. It will take you longer the second time.
Bill, there is so much wisdom in what you say and it's more than a little confusing that it doesn't make sense to more people.
There's a lot to be said for slowing down, focusing, and doing one thing at a time.
Makes so much more sense to take your time and do it right the first time around.
Measure twice, cut once!
Too many short cuts are tried only to discover they take much longer in the long run.
Bill, My mom taught me to do it right the first time or I had to do it her way the 2nd or 3rd time. No FUN at all!
Pride will help in doing things right the first time. Knowing the time wasted also helps.
